Career Goals

I have always enjoyed the idea of being an essential part of something big. I started at Florida Polytechnic on a path to study Cybersecurity Engineering because of my interest in technology. I ended up switching my major to Business Analytics because it fell more in line with my goals. I often consider the efficiency of plans and processes in many situations and can adapt to situational work environments. I want to be able to help companies improve efficiency and consumer satisfaction by analyzing situations and data.

My main goal is to join a game development company, such as Riot Games, as a business analyst because of my passion for video games and problem-solving. I am highly interested in analyzing video games' player bases and responses to decisions made by developers to help improve the quality of the game and the satisfaction of the player. Throughout my history of playing games, I have always been curious about the decision-making process of developers based on players' feedback compared to what would be the most financially efficient/beneficial for the company. I think pursuing a business analyst career in the video game industry would provide a perfect balance between my hobby and my work. Since I am in the beginning stages of my career with limited experience, I am still improving on my qualifications and skill set, but will continue to put in the time and effort required to achieve my goals.
